Rare Miniature Stoneware Churn with Lid and Dasher, New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid churn with flared collar, tooled accents, and applied lug handles, the exterior covered in a salt glaze, the interior with Albany slip glaze. Includes original Albany-slip-glazed lid and likely-original carved wooden dasher. Churn and lid in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Dasher with some old glue residue to its cross-shaped base, indicating the post may have been reglued to it. H (excluding lid) 4 7/8".
