Two Pieces of Ohio Stoneware, Weeks Pottery, Akron, OH, late 19th century, a molded jug with relief decoration and bail handle, underside embossed "MFGD. BY / XXX JUG / PATENT / APLD FOR / F.H. WEEKS. AKRON. O;" paired with an Albany-slip-glazed jug, embossed "WEEKS BRO S AKRON O." Bail-handled jug with staining, a shallow chip to pouring spout, and a small chip to recessed faux spout on opposite end of jug. Albany-slip-glazed jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small in-the-firing iron ping to front. H (of Albany slip jug) 9 3/8".
