Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars with Maysville, KY Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, a canning jar with "wax sealer" rim and stripe-decorated two-gallon jar, both stenciled "JOS. FRANK & SON. / MAYSVILLE. KY." Canning jar with incised X at base on reverse and underside. Canning jar with chips to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. Two-gallon jar with some wear to cobalt and a 3 3/4" X-shaped surface line to reverse, not visible on interior. H (of canning jar) 8 1/4".
