Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Norwich, CT origin, first quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base and narrow collar accented with tooling, the front decorated with a graduated series of daubs resembling grapes. Collar decorated with draped brushwork. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Significant tight spider cracks emanating from base. Filled and partially-colored rim chips.
