Small-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Pinwheel Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with recessed "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a diagonal band of three stenciled pinwheels. One rim chip. Two small base chips. A very minor 1/2" short line at base. Minor surface wear. H 6 3/8".
