Stoneware Swirled-Clay Face Jug, Signed "BBC," Burlon B. Craig, Vale, NC, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid jug composed of swirled clay with flared spout and two applied handles, the front with applied face including china teeth and cobalt-decorated eyes. Incised "BBC" on reverse shoulder. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12".
