Very Rare Kentucky Stoneware Script Bank, American, possibly KY, late 19th century, barrel-form bank with carved slot and Albany-slip-glazed surface, deeply-incised with the slogan, "Kentucky / Wild Cat / Am I Thirsty?," referring to the University of Kentucky mascot or possibly a type of bourbon. Highly unusual form and appealing subject matter. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 3 5/8".
