Rare Lidded Stoneware Presentation Pitcher, Inscribed "AZALEA," attributed to the Wingender Pottery, Haddonfield, NJ, late 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid pitcher with recessed and cobalt-highlighted banding, the front featuring the boldly-incised name, "AZALEA," highlighted in cobalt slip. Includes salt-glazed stoneware lid, likely original to the pitcher. Pitcher in excellent condition with shallow chipping to inner rim for lid. Lid with a smooth in-the-making chip to underside at edge. H (excluding lid) 7 3/4".
