Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITE & WOOD / BINGHAMTON, NY," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird with fan-shaped tail, perched on a stem. Excellent condition with a minor chip to interior of rim, two smooth glazed-over nicks to exterior of rim, and some light staining.
