Glazed Redware Jug, Maine origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base and flared, widemouthed spout, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze over mottled green ground with orange spotting. Provenance: Sticker on underside reads, "Jug Bought in Lewiston Home / Probably Oxford County." Heavy chipping to base. Some light surface wear. H 9".
