One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration and "1847" Date, probably Sidney Risley, Norwich, CT, 1847, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared spout, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed flower above the date, "1847." Excellent condition with a small chip to interior of rim and some roughness to base.
