Three Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, an ovoid pitcher with splashed manganese decoration, New England origin; a larger ovoid pitcher with sponged manganese decoration, probably Thomas Haig, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; and a cylindrical jar with daubed manganese decoration, New England origin. Provenance: Jar, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Blum, Willow Corner Antiques, Lisbon, Conn. Smaller pitcher with a chip to interior of spout, a minor chip to exterior of rim, additional very minor wear, and some in-the-firing glaze spalling. Larger pitcher with wear to front of spout, wear to handle and rim, and some minor surface wear. Jar with shallow chips and wear to rim, wear to shoulder molding, some light surface wear, a small base chip with short line extending from it on underside, and a small in-the-firing ping to underside. H (of taller pitcher) 8 5/8".
