Two Pieces of Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware, NC origin, second quarter 20th century, a one-gallon ovoid pitcher with flared rim, attributed to Samuel Propst, Henry, Lincoln County, NC; paired with a three-gallon ovoid churn, attributed to B.B. Craig, impressed twice with a three-gallon capacity mark previously used by the Reinhardt family, Vale, Lincoln County, NC. Pitcher with a colored rim chip on reverse and some colored wear to spout. Churn in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
