Five-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Jr., Richmond, VA, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two boldly-brushed tulip motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 2" hairline from rim on front. A chip to front of rim.
