Four-Gallon Stoneware Pedestal-Base Water Cooler with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid form with squared bunghole, ribbed lug handles, and a flared pedestal base; decorated on the front with an undulating vine, along with cobalt highlights to the bunghole, handle terminals, and capacity mark. Fully restored pedestal base, including painted decoration to base. Additional area of restoration to base/side of cooler itself. Some painted restoration to bunghole.
