Three-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Alkaline Glaze, Stamped "JHL," John Henry Long, Crawford County, GA, circa 1890, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder, two applied strap handles, and narrow spout, the surface covered in a dark-olive alkaline glaze. Impressed "JHL" on one handle. Loss and a chip to spout. A 7/8" chip to one handle. Some light surface wear.
