Fine Glazed Redware Bowl, MD or PA origin, mid to late 19th century, thinly-potted bowl with footed base, tooled midsection, and semi-rounded rim, decorated in manganese on the exterior with two rows of C-shaped sponged designs and on the interior with draped sponging above an additional band of sponging. Incised "12" on underside. Provenance: Found in Frederick, MD. Wear to rim and interior. Minor rim chips. H 3 3/4" ; Diam. 9 7/8".
