One-Gallon Glazed Redware Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jug with wide spout, decorated with streaks of sponged manganese under a heavy lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark below spout. Excellent condition with some minor surface wear.
