Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to S.A. Colvin & Sons, Jane Lew, WV, circa 1880, small-sized, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed design of a flowering plant emanating from a stylized ground. Thin freehand cobalt stripe at shoulder. Jar measures approximately three quarts. Very nice condition with some light surface wear and light staining. H 10".
