Lidded Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, small-sized, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, decorated with a swag and fan-shaped flower design around the body. Includes loose-fitting Remmey lid with cobalt swag decoration. Several tiny chips on exterior of rim and a few chips on interior of rim. Lid with small chip to knob and chips to flange on underside. H (of crock including lid) 5 1/4" ; Diam. (of lid) 7 1/2".
