Two Alkaline-Glazed Lidded Stoneware Jars, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1980, each of squat, ovoid form with green, alkaline-glazed surfaces, the larger example with applied handles. Both retaining their original alkaline-glazed lids. Underside of each jar with Lanier Meaders signature. Larger jar with an in-the-firing separation on interior, a very small portion of which is visible on exterior. Smaller jar with a tiny chip to edge of bowl and some, minor wear to edge of lid, all possibly in-the-firing. H (of larger jar, including lid) 7".
