Three Pieces of Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century, a one-gallon jug with cobalt foliate decoration, stamped "SMITH & DAY / NORWALK, CT"; a one-gallon jar with cobalt-highlighted maker's mark and handle terminals, stamped "S.S. PERRY / TROY"; and a three-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration and freehand "3", stamped 'H. & G. NASH / UTICA, NY". Norwalk jug with minor base chips, a large in-the-firing contact mark with dark kiln residue to reverse, and some greasy residue to surface. Perry jar with a shallow flake to underside at edge, a small in-the-firing contact mark to bottom edge, two minor rim nicks, and a 2 1/4" inverted Y-shaped line under one handle, and a 2" faint vertical line on reverse. Nash jar in good condition with rim chips and some staining, primarily to reverse.
