Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Face Decoration, OH origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a man's bust with open, smiling mouth and slip-trailed "2" on chest. An appealing folk art image. Very nice condition with two chips and a small nick to interior of rim.
