Fifteen-Gallon Lidded Stoneware Crock with Internal Floating Mechanism, Marked "RED WING / POTTERIES CO. / RED WING, MN", early 20th century, very-large-sized crock with rounded rim, the surface covered in Bristol slip and marked with a blue-colored "15" above a red wing and a blue-colored, oval Red Wing Potteries Company maker's mark. Two original holes, one at shoulder and one at base, including a metal spigot at base. Upper hole connects to an internal metal mechanism with float. Includes original lid, marked with a blue "15", with wood-and-metal bail handle. Crock with a few short lines to exterior base, not visible on interior. Cracked area to lid. H (including lid) 21 1/2".
