Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "N. WHITE & CO. BINGHAMTON", NY State origin, circa 1866-1868, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a bird with spotted body, perched on a leafy vine accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Spider cracks to base area. Spout chips. Some crazing to handle and body of jug.
