Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Spray, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT.", circa 1870, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed floral spray accented with dotted trails. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with a small amount of old green paint to front.
