Large-Sized Sewer Tile Spaniel Doorstop, Ohio origin, late 19th or early 20th century, full-bodied, molded figure of a seated spaniel with incised hair and paws, the eyes, collar, and locket formed from pierced circles. Hollow interior with three carved openings around legs. Salt-glazed surface. In-the-firing fissures to surface. A shallow glazed-over base chip on reverse. H 10 1/2" ; W 4 3/4".
