Rare Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn with Lynchburg, VA Advertising, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical churn with flared collar and applied lug handles, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "FROM / WM KINNIER & CO / LYNCHBURG VA". Reverse with brushed floral decoration. Cobalt dashes underneath each handle and highlighting the handle terminals. Restoration throughout, including some touch-up to cobalt.
