Glazed Redware Flask, New England origin, early 19th century, flattened form with flared spout, decorated on each side with a large brushed swath of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. In-the-firing chipping to base on one side. Wear to spout. A small piece of adhered clay on underside. A tiny in-the-firing ping to one side. Some light surface wear. H 5 3/4".
