Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Egg Cup, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid form with flared rim and stepped pedestal base, the surface covered in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Unusual urn-shaped form. Crude restoration to rim and base. Wear to rim and base. A chip to underside. H 3 5/8".
