Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Wreath Decoration, Stamped "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER", NY State origin, circa 1852-1854, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a wreath surrounding a script "3.". Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A small area of in-the-firing contact marks below decoration. A small glazed-over iron ping to base of handle. Some in-the-firing chips to underside.
