Scarce Alkaline-Glazed Lidded Stoneware Coffeepot, Crawford County, GA origin, late 19th or early 20th century, baluster-form pot with tooled accents, flared collar, and applied strap handle, the front fitted with a hand-modeled pouring spout leading to an original carved opening in the wall of the spout. Includes original lid. Surface covered in a mottled brown alkaline glaze. Faint vertical lines extending a few inches from base. Minor chips to lid. Some small pieces of kiln residue to lid. Two shallow rim chips. H (including lid) 7 3/4".
