Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1870, semi-ovoid jar with semi-squared rim and tooled accents to midsection and shoulder, the shoulder decorated with an undulating vine culminating in a flower blossom, between a brushed straight and wavy stripes. Ornate cobalt-script "2" at base. A large, tight spider line emanating from base on front. Two small chips to bottom edge of rim.
