Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL", Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, small-sized, ovoid jar with footed base and tooling to shoulder and rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a yellow clay ground. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Excellent color. A small rim chip and minor rim wear. Some minor surface crazing to exterior, not visible on interior. H 4 3/4".
