One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Incised Floral Motif, possibly Paul Cushman, Albany, NY, early 19th century, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and thin rim, the front incised with a tulip motif, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Excellent condition with some in-the-firing surface fissures on underside, not visible on interior, and minor rim wear.
