Three Pieces of Southern Stoneware, second half 19th century, a small Albany-slip-glazed pitcher, probably Donkel, Buncombe County, NC, circa 1899; a larger, brown alkaline-glazed pitcher, Buncombe County, NC origin, possibly J.H. Stone, circa 1875; and a half-gallon salt-glazed jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and impressed "1" (actual size is smaller), Chatham County, NC, possibly Fox family. Larger pitcher with wear to rim and midsection. All in otherwise excellent condition. H (of taller pitcher) 11".
