Rockingham-Glazed Presentation Pitcher with Frog, attributed to the Swan Hill Pottery, South Amboy, NJ, late 19th century, featuring a relief hunt scene design and the name "HARRIET ARMSTRONG" in white block letters. Interior with molded and applied figure of a frog. Surface of pitcher and frog covered in a streaky reddish-brown Rockingham glaze. Interior of pitcher glazed white. Restoration to spout. Losses to tips of some rear toes on frog. Some wear to head of frog. H 8 5/8".
