Two Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, one with the cobalt-highlighted firm name, "DENNIS & FRANCIS" above the date "1852"; the other with the cobalt-highlighted name, "KAY & FRANCIS". Dated bottle with a small chip to underside at edge, two small iron pings near base, and some light staining to surface. Other bottle with some wear to shoulder, a minor in-the-making dent to interior of spout, a few tight lines to reverse, some staining to surface, and a code written in black marker on underside. H (of taller bottle) 10 3/4".
