Two Pieces of Redware Tableware, American, circa 1840, an ovoid pitcher with sponged manganese decoration and an ovoid jug with spattered manganese decoration. Pitcher with a Y-shaped crack in underside, extending a short distance onto base in three places, as well as shallow chips and wear to rim and spout. Jug with flakes to shoulder and large areas of scattered tiny flakes to body and spout, as well as tiny chips and light wear to handle. H (of jug) 8 1/2".
