Glazed Redware Spaniel Bank, attributed to George Wagner, Carbon Co., PA, circa 1890, molded spaniel on base with applied coleslaw mane and tail tip and incised details to face and paws. Surface decorated with streaks of copper and manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Carved coin slot in underside. Good color and luster. Very nice condition with typical light wear to applied coleslaw, a small base chip, and two very minor base nicks. H 7".
