Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip around the body with a brushed fuchsia vine design. Dashed Albany slip decoration to spout area and freehand stripes to rim, base of collar, and base of pitcher. An Albany slip highlight to upper handle terminal. Provenance: Recently discovered in Florida. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 9".
