Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon stoneware crock with brushed floral motif, stamped "BROWN. BROTHERS / HUNTINGTON. LI", paired with a three-gallon crock with manganese floral motif, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ. Brown Brothers crock with top-to-bottom crack from rim on reverse and a 2 1/2" crack on underside, continuing 2 1/4" up base, as well as some staining. Unsigned Fulper crock with a chip to exterior of rim, chips to interior of rim, as well as an in-the-firing chip at base on side of crock, and some other very minor base wear.
