Two Brown Brothers, Huntington, Long Island, NY Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1863-1885, both of cylindrical form and two-gallon capacity with matching floral motifs, one stamped "BROWN. BROTHERS / HUNTINGTON. L.I", the other stamped "BROWN BROTHER , / HUNTINGTON, / L.I." within an oval. Example with two-line maker's mark with a 4 1/2" sealed crack from rim and some staining. Crock with oval maker's mark in excellent, essentially as-made condition with some water glass staining to interior.
