Two One-Gallon Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Floral Decoration, H.B. Pfaltzgraff, York, PA, circa 1870-1889, both of ovoid form with semi-squared spouts, each decorated with a brushed tulip extending across the front. One stamped, "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA". Unsigned jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small in-the-firing contact mark to front. Signed jug in very nice condition with a shallow flake to top of spout, minor base nicks, and a small in-the-firing contact mark to handle.
