Eight-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt "Bee Stinger" Decoration, Red Wing, MN origin, fourth quarter 19th century, large-sized, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed "bee stinger" design below an underscored "8". Excellent condition with a tiny nick to each handle. H 16 1/4".
