Glazed Redware Figure of a Goose, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1850-1880, hand-modeled figure of a goose with top knot, incised wings, and circular eyes, seated on an oval base. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze with heavy iron spotting throughout. Original vent holes pierced in breast, back, rear, and underside. Loss to end of beak. Otherwise excellent condition. H 3 1/4" ; L 3 7/8".
