One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, the front featuring the elaborate stenciled advertising, "Wm HASLAGE / & CO. / GROCERS AND TEA / DEALERS. / No. 1 Diamon / PITTSBURGH. / PA.". Freehand cobalt stripes to shoulder and base. A 3" hairline on underside, which continues onto base, forming an approximately 4 1/2" long "T".
