Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Turtle Creek, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "J.B. HEZLEP. / DEALER IN / GENERAL M'DSE. / TURTLE CREEK. PA". Provenance: From an over forty-year private collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
