Three-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Alkaline Glaze, Alabama or Georgia origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied open handles at the shoulders, the surface covered in a mottled, olive-colored alkaline glaze. Base incised with a crude "3". Excellent condition with a 3" tight hairline from rim.
