Fine Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Rose Motif, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES.", Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a large stenciled design of a rose blossom below the arched maker's mark, "HAMILTON & JONES". Cobalt stripe decoration to rim and shoulder. Excellent condition with a few tiny nicks to shoulder molding. H 9 3/8'.
